Life's Questions
22 March, 2006

Isn’t it funny how life sometimes works?
Everyone searches for love, yet most end up getting hurt
Do you think God likes to play games and test us in a way?
Or is it something we all go through and then learn someday
If life wasn't so hard, would it be worth living?
If love is just an emotion why search for its beginning?
If we all knew our future, what would be left in life?
Why waste your time in life's never ending fight?
If God is always watching why doesn't he lend a hand?
Enough of us are suffering to clearly see our demands
We hope and pray that our ordeals will soon pass
Yet at sunset, another night's woes are still ours to last
So I'm askng you now as a person like any other
Do you have the same questions to ask to our father?
I hope he can hear my cries both inside and out
Because as each day fades, I overflow with more doubt
