Try Your Best

were all like zombies, terrorizing this earth
decrypting every mistake we make, destroying everything i say in the verse
we think that out lives are pointless and have no meaning
we live day by day making it through every holiday season
putting on a show trying to look enthused
when really we just want get drugged up on licqour and booze
wasting away our days, hoping that one dat that all of this will change
praying to the lord that we will make it all go away
nothing happens, he backstabbed us and lied
turned his back on us when we needed to hear his cries
soon enough there will be a shinning light
that will never burn out, or be lost and out of site
its going to be there for when we feel unoticed
it will be there for whenever someone is making us feel outta focus
this light though it isnt 100% gaurenteed
theres always a possibillity that it could get up and leave
not carring about your problems or what you have to say
all it cares about is when its gonna get it's next pay
so if you ever wanna progress
all you need to do is get everything off your chest
erase away that frown and always try and do your best
