Mother Dear
25 March, 2006
Author: Catyrose
She struggles to regain the mastery she once knew
Her strength lies in her firm resolve
A courageous lady always
An inspiration she’s been to me
A soft voice
A gentle air
A real lady, She
Carried on for many a year
Untouched by tragedy
She took me in way back then
Cared for me as her own
She gave me love unconditionally
She made our house a home
I often wonder where I’d be
If she had not come along
To hold my hand
Soothe my cries
To love and comfort me
Yes mother dear
I’ll hold you near
Within my heart
Never to part
Today, tomorrow and Always
