Let's Take A Stroll
3 March, 2004
Author: Del
Put your hand in mine,
And come along with me.
We'll take a stroll around our town.
I'll tell you what we'll see.
There are so many interesting sights,
And it's a nice warm day to explore.
I'll paint a vision for you
As we walk along the shore.
This is the shore of Lake Michigan.
It reminds you of the sea.
Its color today is baby blue.
It's as calm as it could be.
Feel the soft breezes caress you,
On this beautiful warm summer day.
A few wispy clouds in the azure sky
Are slowly heading our way.
The golden sun is doing it's duty,
Making the whole world shine.
Hearing the joy and laughter of children,
Makes it even more sublime.
Now we are walking thru a park,
Where children are at play,
Wearing their colorful summer attire.
My what a super glorious day!
This is a day I'll always remember,
Because I'm sharing it with you,
And as the days and years go by,
I hope you'll remember it too.
