Before The Night Fades Away
30 March, 2006
Author: Tammy
Taste the tears upon my face
feel the passion within my soul.
Hold me close my darling
before we have to go.
Take me to your dreams of wonder
far beyond the silver moon.
We will lay upon the sands
and bathe in oceans of blue.
Carry me to your safe haven
over the stormy clouds of grey.
Leave a kiss upon my lips
before the night fades away.
------- Author's Notes -------
I don't like the title to much, seems to long to me, but the poem is about two lovers who only meet in dreams. |

John Foster (81.101.29.211) -- Monday, April 3 2006, 09:03 am This is a well composed poem, nicely rhymed and with a good storyline....really enjoyed. Titles are usually taken from a line in the poem....Some people just use the first line of the poem, others take a few words to describe the content and theme...If you felt the title was too long, it could be shown as 'Night fades away' or even 'Night Fades'...entirely up to you Tammy. |
Tammy (66.38.6.229) -- Tuesday, April 4 2006, 03:24 am Thank you for your feedback on this poem, yea I was really worried about the title being to long, and the poem being a little to short. I have been looking back on some of my poetry, and making corrections. Again Thank you for your kind words, and I love your ideals about the title! |
