He labeled me a loner
Is that really what I am
Because I do not care to gossip
And choose not to join in
Is it because I don't mind
Doing things alone
Or does independence threaten
Those who are not so strong
Perhaps I am just tired
Of saying so many good-byes
Or becoming part of the gossip
Based on facts; flowered with lies
It's peaceful, quiet and calm
There's no hate and discontent
I really like what I am doing
To me it's heaven sent
I could call some friends tonight
But I would rather stay at home
Maybe a loner I truely am
But it's funny ...I don't feel alone

One of my friends at work today nonchalantly said I am a loner, Hmmmm, guess it must be a good thing. Cause I am happy. |
