Alone In Cabot Square
7 April, 2006
Author: Pondering Red
mid-march
spring came for a day -
sandals and summer clouds
then yesterday
the rains came -
shiny sidewalks
and colours of umbrellas
and then the snows fell
defiantly -
layering a dust of powder
on the spring trees
pigeons huddled
wet and cold-
on the statue
in Cabot Square
i started to click away
my growing anger -
i clicked away my rage
it was wet and cold -
but warmer than at home.
i dove into the moment -
this moment -
without you.
with every click
of the camera -
i went futher from you.
with every click of the camera,
i became more content,
with the pigeons,
and the falling snow,
in Cabot Square.
