After All This Time
8 April, 2006
Author: Clive B Ringshall
After all this time,
Hold me hug me,
Hold me kiss me,
Days and nights we’ve been so alone,
Weeks and months we’ve been each others light,
You took me by my hand,
I took your hand and held it tight,
Nights together our words meant more with silence,
Days that followed I knew your every thought,
After all this time,
Hold me hug me,
Hold me kiss me,
Picnics together smiles of love,
Walking forward forever arm in arm,
Planning a life together forever,
Planning colour’s for each and every room,
A bay window for you,
A den for me
After all this time,
Hold me hug me,
Hold me kiss me,
Walks turned into dates,
Dates turned into fun,
Your beauty always shines,
Your look keeps me warm,
In this world there always be you and me,
After all this time,
Hold me hug me,
Hold me kiss me,
Making love together sent electricity through our souls,
Making love with you I’d share my all with you,
With our music our love sang out loud,
Our souls always entwined every night and day,
With you I love to be with only you,
