Rosaline

Rosaline,
Where have you been?
Lost in yourself
For a week now.
Rosaline,
Drinkin’, up all your gin
At the bar,
Drowning in you sorrows.
You are down and out,
No hope for a tomorrow.
Where are you my friend,
Roaming town again?
Take you head
Out of the gallows.
After school again,
You’re running to win,
In a race
No one’s ever cared to start
You’re down and out,
No hope for a tomorrow.
Never getting out
Of the gutter
Drowning in your tears,
Lost in forgotten years.
Dreams of another day,
Hope in another way.
Just try to save yourself,
Today.
