True Love

The worst feeling in the world,
Is when true love is forever gone,
You feel as if the world has ended,
As if you’ll never be able to move on,
That first night you sleep alone,
It’s so cold you cannot bear,
You look around and wonder,
How can he not even care?
Your heart feels empty now,
Can I even face another day?
Am I strong enough to do this?
Why must things be this way?
Lord help me to be strong now,
I need you more than ever before,
Help me get through all this,
What is all this happening for?
Give me a chance to change,
I’ll do anything for love dear,
I can be what you want me to,
Don’t leave me alone here,
I want to close my eyes softly,
Then you whisper into my ear,
Say the words, “ I love you”
Your rejection is what I fear,
I want your love more than life,
I want to feel your sweet embrace,
I want to share my life with you,
So we can live in love and grace...
