In Control
27 April, 2006
Author: Marilyn A F Longfellow
I choose this day,
And from now on.
To take control,
Of my body and soul.
My mind comes first,
Family and school.
No drugs or sex,
Nobody's fool.
Poverty, baby's,
Broken hearts and schemes.
Who needs that?
I have my dreams.
I choose this day,
And from now on.
To honor myself,
And be proud and strong.
