Wildflowers
28 April, 2006
Author: Catyrose
Chestnut colored tresses
Blowing in the soft summer breeze
Caressing sun-bronzed shoulders
Freckles sprinkled lightly upon a finely sculpted nose
Cornflower blue eyes smiling
Laugh lines forming in this pleasant moment
Full shapely rose-tinted lips curved upward
Slender form swaying gently
Sauntering up the dusty desert slope
Pausing to select the most delicate of wildflowers
Indian paintbrush, the color of the sun ablaze
She sits peacefully, bouquet in hand
Taking in her fill
Of simple pleasures
Growing wild and free
As far as the eye can see
