I saw you break
Into a million pieces
Right before my eyes
I watched you fake
Every part of your
Wretched beauty
And now you know
How hard it is
For me to break away
From you
Every time you
Tried to kill me
You crushed me so hard
But I have the mirror
And you hold the shard
Let me bring you down
Into those eyes
Let me show you
Just how much I care
About forgetting you
I saw you break
Away from life
Right before my eyes
I saw you fake
That smile
Every single time
And now you know
How hard it is
For me to break away
From you
Every time you
Wounded me
You crushed me so deep
But I am the pill
To make you forever sleep
Let me bring you down
Into those eyes
Let me show you
Just how much I care
About forgetting you
------- Author's Notes -------
I'm not really sure what this is, it sounded lyrical but it doesn't sound that great- I wasn't really good with musical writings and such. But this was sort of a lament to someone about something and holds personal value.. Sort of. But critique it as you like, I know there's many errors in it, but I like it the way it is, somehow. |
