My heart longs so much for someone.
I just can't tell him how I feel.
I never believed in true love.
I never thought it was for real.

There are many different kinds of love,
Invading your heart thru the years.
You love your friends and your family,
In your teens, love can bring tears.

Then you finally think you found it.
For years and years it seems,
Because of some very exotic nights,
You found the man of your dreams.

Your love for him keeps growing,
In another different way.
You will never hurt each other,
And life goes on day, by day, by day.

Then like a bolt of lightning
Out of a dark cloud up above,
Your heart is again invaded
By another kind of love.
