An Every Day Vibrancy

Took the bus -
Took a walk -
Been in too long.
Spring has
flowed it's
energy into
this city.
Flourescent green leaves
against old
red brick houses.
Walked through the
McGill student ghetto-
A familiar comforting feeling -
time travel -
yet somewhat eerie and strange.
I wandered -
I photographed -
click click
click click
Doors painted
lime green and baby blue
and hot red -
One laundromat
painted the most
psychadelic yellow
I have almost ever seen.
And I too
wanted to feel
ViBrAnT !!!!!
I detoured into alleyways
that were layered
and sprayed with
eXpReSsIoNs of
thoughts - sadness -
RaGe - joy -
exhileration.
Cool spring air
filtered into my lungs.
I became electrified.
I stopped to have a falafel
sandwhich in a greasy spoon
on St.Laurent street -
The smiling owner gave me
a complimentary mint tea.
The clouds floated by
like continents.
I savoured the deliciousness
of the food and the skies
and the spring shadows
and the never ending
rows of alleyway art -
while you were sleeping -
while you were sleeping -
I really wish
that you would
leave
leave
leave
So that I could
experience
a VibRaNcy
such as today -
every day -
yes -
an every day VibRaNcY !!!!
