Mother May I?
15 May, 2006
Author: Marilyn A F Longfellow
Mother may I?
No! no! no!
Please!, please!, please!
I want to go.
Mother may I?
Yes you may.
Have fun, be careful
When you play.
Mother may I?
Just take one.
Don't forget.
Supper's almost done.
Mother may I?
Go clean your room.
The car is parked
Beside the broom.
Mother may I?
Don't stay out late.
11 o'clock!
It's your first date.
Mother may I?
After church!
Always remember
To put God first.
Mother may I?
Just wanted to say.
Thanks for loving me.
Happy Mother's Day!
