Hearts Linked By Death
19 May, 2006
Author: Miztrebor
There's a girl across the room,
Who casts a shadow, oh, so long.
I have seen her before,
In the words of a song.
Darkness that engulfs,
From eyes that command all senses.
Stops the beating of my heart,
Dropping of all defenses.
Will she be here tomorrow,
To take me away?
Caught up in a search,
Is she to be my way?
A look to match my own,
No worry but a light
Always behind it will be,
In front as dark as night.
Death always lingers,
In the corners off the mind.
Reaching out to tempt us,
To become a reaper of a new kind.
