Just A Minute...

Look in her eyes, look really deep, behind the chain necklace, behind the nice white teeth.
You'll see a little girl, curled up and crying, wondering where her childhood went, as she's slowly dying.
No one understands it, all they ask is, "Why does she act like that?", "Why won't she listen?'
Now pay close attention, at the way she hides her wrist, look through the sleeve, get closer, let me show you this.
Look at the scars, ugly and deep, and then ask yourself, Will I ever do that to me?"
Sitting in a room, all alone, shedding tears of pain and hate, and writing a 'worthless emo poem'
Please my good friend, one last time for me, look at her as a whole, are there pieces missing?
the shine in her eyes, as she laughs at a joke, were is the dreamy expression, as she wonders whether to get a coke?
All the normal things, missing in her life, that sometimes she misses, as she's drawn by a knife.
Now my friend, as you slowly draw away, think back to what you saw, and don't let yourself get that way...
