The Storm Comforts Me
5 June, 2006
Author: Megan
the rain falls down
accompanying the tears
that roll down my cheeks
lost in thoughts
that i don't fully comprehend
and i inordinately can't handle
the thunder cries out
like the sorrow inside of me
that i'm trying to subdue
but the roaring thunder
dances with the deafening roaring of my emotions
lightning flashes in infuriated bolts
in the manor that my heart flashes it's anger
one quick bolt; one quick thought
it's provoked and then it fades out
the storm subsequently ends
and i'm left feeling okay
