Just Pretending

Honey, let's go our and celebrate.
Let's go out and dine.
We'll find a secluded table,
And sip a glass of wine.
We gaze lovngly at each other,
While soft music fills the air.
You gently place your hand on mine,
And tell me how much you care.
I've loved you for so long now,
Never thought I'd have a chance.
My poor heart started doing flip flops,
When you asked me for a dance.
You took me in your loving arms,
I felt your warm cheek next to mine.
The feelings I felt were hard to explain,
Superb, rapturus and simply devine.
I think about you every day.
My love for you will never end.
Since I never see you in my dreams,
Before I fall asleep, I just pretend.
