Guidance

Author: Catyrose
Hiking high in the arid hills
Red clay beneath my feet
Plodding along on this desert trail
Awesome wonders do unfold
On this journey I am told
Sacred ground
Blessed by the spirits
Feel their presence in the wilderness
Voices carried upon the wind
Speaking to the heart and soul
Offering guidance and direction
As one ponders in quiet reflection
Nature provides such priceless wisdom
To those who are humble and willing to listen
See the beauty in the raindrops
Falling down, upon the barren ground
Hear the truth carried upon the breeze
Surrendering it’s priceless secrets with ease
Touch the realities of this earth
As crops flourish, a continuous rebirth
Taste wild berries upon your tongue
As they thrive in the desert sun
Inhale the fragrance of the herbs aflower
Bestowing upon us mother natures
Everlasting and curative powers
