Set Me Free

Gorgeous.
It’s a gorgeous, gorgeous day outside.
With laughing wind and beautiful blazing sun.
But I must hide beneath my wings
Because if I don’t I’m afraid I’d lose myself.
Lose, Lose, Lose myself.
I know that I’d lose myself right to you
God give me strength.
I need to be saved
But not by you,
I Don’t want you as my hero
I Don’t need you as my hero
Not you, don’t wanna be addicted
Don’t wanna be alone, confined, restricted
Let me be.
Don’t break me.
Please, Please don’t break through my wall
You’re my weakness
But you know that.
So I don’t need to confess
We used to be happy together
But then I started drowning
I lost me and became obsessed with you
But we used to be happy
We used to be perfect
Butterflies, Do you remember?
I do.
Please say you remember.
Don’t pretend you don’t.
How we loved them
Caught them.
And then set them free.
Let me be your butterfly.
Okay?
Let me go.
Okay?
Set me free.
