Nostalgia Beckons by SweetVenom

Days flew faster,
I was here, I went there and I was gone,
Still feels as if I was in Kindergarten,
Sipping my empty water bottle,
While my mom pulls it out of my mouth,
Asking her endless questions on stars to cats.

The joyful rides with my dad,
As he dropped me off at school with a wave,
Realizing things as science answers the far beyond,
Awaiting the joyous ‘Games’ hour,
All came and went without any fizz.

Fighting with the girls,
A new liking begins,
Bus rides, making it noisy & happy,
Talking endlessly on the phone,
I confide to a friend- ‘I spoke to her for hours’.

Still the first kiss tastes sweet,
Started with hearing them,
Till the time they came real,
It is still a moment to cherish,
Though, she isn’t around any more.

High school gangs to college diplomats,
Rocking discos to favorite pubs,
Die-hard fans to TV-watchers,
Revolving around the beauties,
While I dumped, I was also dumped.

As I laze on an sliding chair,
Seems I have done this before,
The present looks as if it has passed,
Me, a great man, pondering over my auto-bio,
Controlling an empty empire of my own territory.

As I was looking back at various events in my life, I feel I have gone thro' even the one I am facing now.They were all traversed.Feels as if I have cleared the hard things and accomplished.Sitting on wealth and famous,I look back and experience the days.Sounds strange but feels good to think of it :)
