Sitting at the ledge starin' out an open window.
Stared so long that my heart grew cold.
Left my world through the door to yesterday.
Saw the love that used to be, but could never be again.
Ran through the memories that were our happiness.
Came to see were we belonged.
Saw the path into the dawn of a new day.
Began to travel it not knowing the way.
Now i sit looking back and smile at what i was.
Knowing that i have found myself again in you.
New beginings i have begun.
New endings to my story i have written.
If our paths should ever cross again.
I will bid you a good day and tell you of my lifes end.
Returning to the innocence that is love.
