Secret Place
24 June, 2006
Author: Daniel Luther Myers
Seldom does soft serenity seep into my grasp.
The hubub of the day and all its calamity
Are the norm.
The night it brings peace and silence,
Until the dawn disturbs again my inner
Solace.
Banish the demons of the day, survive in
Infinite night.
Not evil, but the night that promises
Sanctuary from the days diseased
Disturbances.
Eternal rest is not the answer, just
Meditative silence occasionally.
