It Hurts Too Much To Stay Sober
25 June, 2006
Author: Randi Jung
why try to make it better anymore
i face this all alone
and every moment is all the same
your voice in my head
you are all i can hear
i need to drown out the sounds
i feel your heat
as if i were next to you
i hear your breath
as if i were holding your face
next to mine
yet i can't breathe
i need to numb the memories
i see you in my dreams
i am committing some sin
it is wrong to have you here with me
a stolen soul
unbenounced to you
so i keep drinking
just to feel you,
again
