everything
pent up inside
afraid to come out
silence
carries so many words
confusion
unsettling
the words
that were spoken
can no longer be erased
i can't stop wishing
you would just turn around
but i was just falling in love
while you were saying goodbye

Meridian (72.82.89.202) -- Tuesday, June 27 2006, 08:02 pm Randi, beautiful poem. Remarkable. I guess it's fate when our dreams, hopes, and wishes fade in the moonlight. I guess it's fate when that star we wished on hasn't come to pass. The hardest part may be waiting, but it's worth. Because, you'll eventually see the flip side of the wait. Heartfelt words! I loved your poem Randi! |
