Belonging
2 July, 2006
Author: Barbara Goodhew
When you visit and come around,
I feel like to a family I belong.
Finding out that we have some same traits,
Makes me want to sit up proud and straight.
In our younger years you were there for me.
Through no fault of ours you had to leave.
While I didn't feel like anywhere I belonged.
Now that we are back as a family you make me
feel like I BELONG.
