I pray each day to God above,
For a peaceful world in 2004.
I pray to Him for so many things,
But there is nothing I could wish for more.

So many natural disasters are happening.
These are all beyond our control.
Wars are started by a selected few,
And greed is their ultimate goal.

It's a shame to hear of the many lives being lost,
In a land so far away.
Leaving behind their families,
Who miss them more and more each day.

Wars have been here forever, it seems.
And they are probably here to stay.
If everyone could learn to 'love thy neighbor,'
Just maybe, someday they'd go away
