Pain Of Angels
11 July, 2006
Author: Daniel Luther Myers
Have you ever felt the pain of angels?
It's unexpected and more painful than a knife blade.
A blade only cuts the skin, it's only physical.
An angels cut is much different.
It goes straight for the heart and soul.
My cuts are still healing.
The first was the deepest.
It left me numb and uncaring.
The second the most painful.
Because i had learned to smile again, and then the angel brought its blade on me.
The third the most revealing.
It taught me to hide my soul, and only reveal what the angels wish to see.
Beware an angel, they are double-edged swords.
At once comforting and then the sharpest blade slid between your ribs.
