The Lying Lips

Where are the wonders that you promise me, o, AMERICA?
The land of great opportunities and friendly people.
The joy of tasting the sweetness of peace,
And thrill of seeing each individual beam.
The community that belongs to all,
And the warmth of each precious heart.
Where is your fair judgment?
The unprejudiced thinking
That I am here not to steal your people's jobs,
And not to steal your girlfriends,
And not luring your friends away from you.
Where is your unity as a nation?
The togetherness as one undivided nation
To help to strengthen her and to protect her from harm.
The needs of having immigrants here to stand by you and support you.
Where is the American dream that was, once, dwelling here?
O, America, you're a liar!
