Love On Hold
17 December, 2003
Author: Del
I can't give you the love you're craving,
My darling, I wish I could,
You have such a sweet gentle heart,
Certainly not made of wood.
Your words of love are enticing,
I can't get them out of my mind.
I could search the whole world over,
And no one like you could I find.
I'd love to hold you in my arms
And kiss you tenderly,
And keep caressing your body,
While you make love to me.
I know I'll keep on wishing,
On every falling star,
That time will never change you,
You'll stay as sweet as you are.
Someday at the end of a rainbow,
We'll find a pot of gold.
Until that day, my sweetheart,
We'll put our love on hold.
