Our Rendezvous In Dreamland
15 December, 2003
Author: Del
When I am in bed at night
And just can't fall asleep,
I pretend I'll meet you in dreamland,
And a rendezvous we'll keep.
But when I finally fall asleep,
And see this wonderland,
I search and search, but all I see,
Are footprints in the sand.
I follow these footprints one by one,
See a silouette near the shore.
I call your name, you turn around,
And I search for you no more.
We run into each others arms.
You hold me oh, so tight.
Darling, don't ever let me go,
I want to love you tonight.
What a wonderful glorious feeling
Proving our love so true.
But, only in my dreams, my dear,
Can I spend a night with you.
