We Fall Together
16 August, 2006
Author: Everett
Together we fall
Like leaves on a dying october tree.
I fell so much faster than you.
Breaking apart at the stem.
Broken I watch as you gracefully swing through the air.
I know that you care.
I'll try not to stare
But my eyes are a sucker for such beauty.
I knew you would show your wings.
It won't be long now.
I embrace the sky.
You hold your breath.
In pieces I keep falling...
Falling for you.
