Falling Star
16 August, 2006
Author: Everett
The stars came raining down.
For weeks my heart stopped beating.
Losing interest in breathing.
Trying to swallow my pride with a slit throat.
Losing all hope.
The nights are too long to sleep.
The days are too short to breathe.
Blood soaked hands lose grip so fast.
Falling apart is feeling so real.
My legs sink through the sand.
I'm guilty where i stand.
My best attempt at salvation.
My heart tied to my chest by string and wire.
Such a sight for the world to admire.
Walking away.
My eyes close.
Whispering confessions to a unforgiving sky is all i have left.
