It's great to have a friend
I can tell my troubles too,
It's great to have a friend
Who's faithful, kind and true.
It's great to have a friend
Who cheers me when things look grim,
Who appreciates so very much
The little things I do for him.
He's like the brightest star
That lightens up the night.
He never leaves me feeling sad
Makes everything seem right.
I hope he never leaves me,
This special friend of mine.
I'd like to be his friend forever,
Until the end of time
