The Broken Hearted

My unfound bliss lives
between your pale lips.
With only a dream as cold as steel,
I know how the broken hearted feel.
I know why the broken hearted hide
hide from the cancer and the lies.
Slowly depriving them self's of life
only in hopes reality will coincide.
Like a cancer in the breeze
your words float upon the autumn leaves.
Only leading to a paradise injecting deceit
into my lungs with words you speak.
I know why the broken hearted dream
My soul is crucified
to the tear drop from your eyes
by the heart beat of your soul
my heart will turn to stone
I know why the broken hearted try.
At the center of goodbye,
my soul you will find.
I know why the broken hearted try
with your longed for touch as my lullaby
use your words to kiss my body goodnight
