Turn Time Around
25 August, 2006
Author: Scorpio
These placid ruins define who I am
These old desires build my character
Of whom do I deserve?
I get exactly that
They say I should get better
Although I dwell within the past
Is this really what I want?
The man he has become
Butterflies inside my head
I've lost my mind
To be left so undone
About to break the fall
When all I've done
Is to urge it farther on
------- Author's Notes -------
I haven't done this in a while. I just wrote without really thinkin' about it. Music helps a lot, it always has for me. It turned out to be more like I wanted it to be than I thought. |
