The Liquor Song
29 August, 2006
Author: Scorpio
Absinthe blind thy wretched eye
Whiskey fake thy horrid smile
Fly free, fly free, little sparrow
Thou art no longer mine
Vodka seeps from thy pores
Ale breathes from thy own mind
Fly free, fly free, little sparrow
Thine eyes no longer kind
------- Author's Notes -------
This is more like a mockin' of all the people that use liquor to wash away all their flaws. I'm a hypocrite in sayin' so, 'cause I used to do the same thing. Luckily, I've gotten out of that phase, but this is also sort of emotional, for the fact that although it's small- It holds a lot of meanin' of how people can change in an instant. |
