Mindless Mutterings
4 September, 2006
author: Rebecca Ditch-Hammack (aka Dreamer)
Mindless mutterings
heard thru closed doors
when we think we are alone
the words come naturally
playing out something in our life
that will never come to be
Working out those little skits
we think inside our brains
Saying things we'd never say
Inventing adventures that never were
and will probably never be
When we think no one is around
we tell off the boss, rip on a spouse
or speak our minds to our neighbors
Giving life to doses of realities,
the silence of our mind speaks aloud
If we could not let it out would our minds erupt
Are the words there to keep the peace
release the steam, or play out our fears.
Whatever they may be I hope no one will hear
The Mindless Mutterings of my verbal volunteer
