Late Summers Trance
10 September, 2006
Author: Pondering Red
I feel the crisp freshnesss
of the air -
the perfect weather
of approaching fall.
Happy Sunday -
drained from long weeks
of early rising
and longer days full of agenda.
I am floating -
breathing in expectatons -
promises to myself.
Fear leaves these rooms.
I watch you
sitting -withdrawn.
Perhaps you are also
in this late summers trance.
Yet,
I would not know.
Your words
do not reveal
what travels inside
your moodiness.
The clouds are on parade -
blossoming with summers residue-
displaying brilliance.
I have some plans.
They are little,
yet.
they envelope me
with contentment.
It's a good day.
traveling clouds -
your good quietness -
and the sweet scent
of hope in the air.
Yes,
this late summers trance -
i am joyful !!!
