Blending In
15 September, 2006
Author: Pondering Red
I blend in with the buildings -
the long afternoons shadows -
as i walk slowly
the streets of downtown...
school kids in packs -
a woman from the far north
sits with her cup.
in fast cinema motion,
they come and go -
and come and go -
i am dizzy -
the sun seeps red
around my eyes -
dazzling -
too brilliant -
i keep walking -
observing posters - old houses
i often wonder who used
to live there ?
who lives there now ?
ghost houses.
my jaw is tense -
it is unusually hot -
i plan to go home -
where if
you are there -
i will blend with the
furniture and tv shows -
a ghost in my own house......
