Fleeting
14 September, 2006
Author: Rick Ryckman
Her vision beckons me once again to return to paradise.
Weaving her delicate embroidery.
Too build a new season of brilliant colors and sandcastles.
Creating a tapestry for my dreams.
Inflamed by my dancing desires.
In the glory days when I ran exhausted.
In countless beds you have wept.
Turning your beauty inward.
A single red rose upon her throne waits.
Let me kneel at your altar my young courtesan.
Too drink from the golden cup.
Leaving a delicious taste that lingers.
Wrapped within a soft blanket of warmth.
The velvet darkness engulfs my slumbering eyes.
