Falling Fast.

What makes you so special?
Is it the way you look at me?
The meaning in your eyes, so easy to see.
Or perhaps it’s the fusion of a kiss.
The one when I was away from you, I missed.
What about the electricity?
Or the feeling of simplicity?
Or maybe it’s your sense of innocence,
Or the fire in you that’s the cause of this brilliance.
Could it be the taste staining my lips,
Or the fluttering feeling of my heart that flips?
Is it your familiar smell that I crave?
Or the level of understanding that you gave?
Is it the way we seem to be perfect together?
My faith in love that’s made the world feel bigger?
Perhaps I’m naïve, or is this for real?
This feeling of perfection is all I have to feel.
Is it the passion that I see in my dreams,
Or the stupid laughs and the giggling screams?
Is it because I forget the world when you hold me?
Am I the only one to feel like this, or do you agree?
Is it the way you make me feel alive?
Or is it this fairytale from which I thrive?
Maybe it’s because I’m falling in love with you.
