Hard Miles
22 September, 2006
Author: Rick Ryckman
In my solitude the silence is endless.
Shadows are shaping the horizon.
The frozen embers will not ignite.
A jungle of echoes comes resounding.
The fury is riding its storm.
I am blinded by the darkness.
I am painted with fear.
Running forever with the hard miles of time.
