Heaven Sent

Author: Rick Ryckman
From out of my dreams she descends.
I hear her footsteps approaching my chamber door.
In anticipation my heartbeat quickens.
Engulfed in the flames of my mind.
My desires with a hungering are unyielding.
My eyes fall to the sanctuary of her throne.
Bestowing her pristine flower upon me.
Her wings so fragile and delicate flutter in mid-air.
Her murmurs whisper like silken lyrics.
She locks me in her golden arches.
She alone possesses the forbidden key.
I can taste the lingering splendor of her fragrance.
