No More True Love
19 November, 2003
Author: Del
Today is a dark, gray rainy day.
I can hear the pounding of the rain.
It feels like needles piercing my heart,
And I'm beginning to feel the pain.
I've seen so many rainy days,
Just waiting for the sun to peek thru.
But, even when the sun shines again,
My heart will still yearn for you.
You were my sunshine, you are my life.
How can I go on without you?
I've tried to find someone to love,
But no one else, my dear, will do.
I'm wearing the locket you gave me.
It's right here near my heart.
The only part of you I have left,
With that locket I will never part.
Time, they say heals our sorrows,
But I certainly do not agree.
One thing I know for sure, my love
There'll be no more true love for me
