Is There Someone
26 September, 2006
Author: Rick Ryckman
Who will listen to my sigh?
When I wish on a falling star.
When the moon dims its light.
The night will hold no dancing.
All my thoughts just seem to drift.
Wrapped in images full of disgrace.
No feelings or taste lingers.
There will be no dreams afire in my heart.
Clinging to windless winds.
No desires to run free.
My essence is tattered and torn.
There are no mansions I long for.
The music I hear is locked in eternity.
Without dreams I am but a fool.
