I'm Tryin
6 October, 2006
Author: Shorty
You think of me so highly,
I don't want to ruin that image.
You tell me I'm better than I ever thought I could be.
Sometimes I rush to slow down,
because I'm scared to get too close.
And even though I'm strong from afar,
Up close I'm scared to death.
Fear of hurt keeps my heart guarded,
Bub I'm really trying to be all you dream I am.
