Trust, Lust & Pinky Promises
19 October, 2006
Author: Dani
Reliance and confidence in truth
Is the meaning of trust,
So why can something this strong
Be overcome by lust?
A strong desire for sexual satisfaction
Is the meaning of lust,
So why can something so sinful
Conquer the purity of trust?
I do admit my feelings go deeper than I say,
But the concealment I hold
Is disguised in every way.
Don’t condemn yourself
On my selfish thought.
I created this false heartened situation,
Sold and bought.
Don’t feel you are the one at fault
I wished to be together.
My memories cherished,
My first dream ever.
Oath’s and pinkie promises
Can only go so far,
So remember who I am
And don’t forget who you are.
